Author(s) Fees

All articles published in the Barongko: Jurnal Ilmu Kesehatan (BaJIK) are fully open access. To provide free access for readers, enhance our journal management system, and cover the costs of peer review, copyediting, long-term archiving, and journal operations, starting in 2026, an article processing charge (APC) of IDR 500,000 will apply to papers accepted after peer review. This fee is payable by the authors or their institutions.

1. Application Fee

There are no submission fees for authors who submit manuscripts to Jurnal Barongko.

Application Fee: Free (IDR 0.00)

Authors are not required to make any payments when submitting a manuscript for review.

2. Article Publication Fee

For manuscripts accepted for publication, an Article Publication Fee applies as follows:

IDR 500.000

The publication fee is charged per accepted article and covers the costs of publication and the journal's editorial processing.

3. No Additional Publication Fees

Jurnal Barongko applies a transparent and fixed publication fee. Authors will not be charged any additional costs beyond the publication fee officially established by the journal.

There are no hidden charges, additional processing fees, or unexpected publication costs associated with the publication of an accepted manuscript.

Any payment request originating from parties outside the journal’s official administration should not be considered an official publication fee for Jurnal Barongko.

4. Payment Policy

Publication fees are payable only after a manuscript has received an official acceptance decision from the journal. Authors will be provided with formal payment information and instructions by the journal’s editorial team.

The payment of publication fees does not influence editorial decisions or the outcomes of the peer-review process. All manuscripts are evaluated based on academic quality, originality, relevance, methodological rigor, and adherence to the journal’s publication standards.
