Komunikasi Terapeutik Sebagai Strategi Peningkatan Patient-Centered Care Dalam Keperawatan

ABSTRACT
Therapeutic communication is a core competency in nursing practice that plays a crucial role in improving the quality of patient-centered care. This approach emphasizes active patient involvement in the care process and a collaborative relationship between nurses and patients. This study aims to analyze the influence of therapeutic communication on improving patient-centered care in nursing practice. This study used a quantitative design with a cross-sectional approach. A sample of 100 inpatients was selected using a purposive sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using simple linear regression. The results showed that therapeutic communication significantly influenced patient-centered care (β = 0.52; p < 0.001). In conclusion, effective therapeutic communication can improve patient satisfaction, patient engagement, and the quality of nursing services.

ABSTRAK
Komunikasi terapeutik merupakan salah satu kompetensi utama dalam praktik keperawatan yang berperan penting dalam meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan berbasis patient-centered care. Pendekatan ini menekankan keterlibatan aktif pasien dalam proses perawatan serta hubungan yang kolaboratif antara perawat dan pasien. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh komunikasi terapeutik terhadap peningkatan patient-centered care dalam praktik keperawatan. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross-sectional. Sampel sebanyak 100 pasien rawat inap dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dan dianalisis menggunakan regresi linear sederhana. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa komunikasi terapeutik berpengaruh signifikan terhadap patient-centered care (β = 0,52; p < 0,001). Kesimpulannya, komunikasi terapeutik yang efektif mampu meningkatkan kepuasan pasien, keterlibatan pasien, serta kualitas pelayanan keperawatan.
