Pengaruh Pelatihan Interprofesional Terhadap Kolaborasi Tim Kesehatan di Kabupaten Pangkep

Background: Interprofessional collaboration in health services is an important element in improving the quality of service and patient safety. One of the strategic approaches developed to improve the effectiveness of teamwork is interprofessional training (Interprofessional Education/IPE). Pangkep Regency as a region with challenging geographical characteristics requires a strong collaboration model between health workers.
Objective: This study aims to analyze the effect of interprofessional training on improving collaboration between cross-professional health teams in Pangkep Regency.
Method: The research design used a quasi-experimental one group pretest-posttest type. The sample was 60 health workers from various professions who participated in interprofessional training for 3 days. Data were collected using the Interprofessional Collaborative Competency Attainment Survey (ICCAS) questionnaire and analyzed using a paired t-test.
Results: There was a significant increase in scores (p <0.05) in all aspects of collaboration, including effective communication, role understanding, teamwork, conflict resolution, attitudes towards other professions, and self-reflection. The average collaboration score increased from 3.19 (pretest) to 4.07 (posttest).
Conclusion: Interprofessional training has been proven effective in increasing interprofessional collaboration in health teams. Implementation of this training periodically is recommended as a strategy to increase the capacity of health human resources in the region.
