Self-efficacy plays a role in shaping an individual's belief in their ability to avoid risky behavior, while attitude reflects behavioral tendencies towards reproductive health. This study aims to analyze the role of self-efficacy and attitude in preventing early pregnancy in adolescents through reproductive health education. This study used a quantitative design with a cross-sectional approach . A sample of 110 respondents was selected using a purposive sampling technique. Data were collected using a questionnaire and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results showed that self-efficacy (β = 0.45; p < 0.001) and attitude (β = 0.32; p < 0.01) significantly influenced early pregnancy prevention behavior, with self-efficacy as the most dominant factor. Reproductive health education has been shown to improve both variables. In conclusion, increasing self-efficacy and positive attitudes through education is an important strategy in preventing early pregnancy in adolescents.

Keywords: Self-Efficacy , Attitude, Adolescents, Early Pregnancy, Reproductive Education
2026-04-05T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2026 Zumrotul Ula, Rezqiqah Aulia Rahmat, Cakrawati R https://jurnal.agdosi.com/index.php/IJHS/article/view/1215 Cost-Benefit Analysis of Preventive Programs in the National Health System 2026-04-08T04:26:38+00:00 Syaiful Bachri syaifulbrg62@gmail.com Azmi Wijayati syaifulbrg62@gmail.com
Abstract

Preventive programs within the national health system play a crucial role in improving public health while simultaneously reducing long-term healthcare costs. This study aims to analyze the economic benefits versus costs of implementing preventive programs. The method used is a cost-benefit analysis approach , incorporating literature studies and secondary data from various national and international health sources. The results indicate that investments in preventive programs such as immunization, early screening, and health education provide significant economic benefits, including reduced disease burden, increased productivity, and improved health system efficiency. Therefore, preventive programs deserve to be a priority in national health policy.

Keywords: Cost-Benefit Analysis , Preventive Program, National Health System, Health Efficiency
2026-04-08T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2026 Syaiful Bachri, Azmi Wijayati https://jurnal.agdosi.com/index.php/IJHS/article/view/1201 Hospital Management Strategies in Improving the Quality of Inpatient Services 2026-04-05T07:15:39+00:00 Suaib suaibabubakar@gmail.com Djunaedi suaibabubakar@gmail.com
ABSTRACT

The quality of healthcare services is an important indicator in assessing hospital performance. It was concluded that there is a significant relationship between clean water availability and household environmental health.
2026-04-04T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2026 Glory Gelarich Simanjuntak, Rahmat Pannyiwi https://jurnal.agdosi.com/index.php/IJHS/article/view/1193 Birth Techniques Ball On The Intensity Of Labor Pain In Mothers Giving Birth In The First Stage Of Active Phase 2026-04-04T18:28:44+00:00 Dia Rejeki Utami diarejekiutami@gmail.com Djunaedi Djunaedi djunaedijuned79@gmail.com
Labor pain is a physiological experience experienced by women during labor due to uterine contractions and cervical dilation. Labor pain management can be carried out pharmacologically or non-pharmacologically. One non-pharmacological method that can be used is the birth control technique. ball. Birth The birth ball is an exercise using a special ball that helps laboring mothers perform pelvic movements, increasing comfort and reducing pain intensity. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of this birth ball technique. The effect of ball on the intensity of labor pain in mothers in the first stage of labor during the active phase. The study used a quasi-experimental design with a pretest - posttest approach. without control group. A sample of 30 mothers giving birth was selected using a purposive sampling technique. Pain intensity was measured using a Numeric Rating Pain Scale (NRS). The results showed that the average pain score before the intervention was 7.3 ± 1.1 and after the intervention it became 5.1 ± 1.0 with a p value < 0.001. It was concluded that the birth control technique Ball is effective in reducing the intensity of labor pain in the first active phase.
2026-04-04T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2026 Dia Rejeki Utami, Djunaedi Djunaedi https://jurnal.agdosi.com/index.php/IJHS/article/view/1192 The Relationship Between Upright Delivery Positions And The Incidence Of Perineal Tears In Normal Delivery 2026-04-04T18:37:24+00:00 Astin Nur Hanifah astinnur1980@gmail.com Ismiyanti H. Achmad astinnur1980@gmail.com
Birth position is one factor that can influence the birth process and the risk of complications during labor. Upright birth positions such as standing, sitting, or squatting are believed to utilize gravity to facilitate the birth process. However, this position is also suspected to be associated with the incidence of perineal tears in normal deliveries. This study aims to determine the relationship between upright birth positions and the incidence of perineal tears in normal deliveries. The study used an analytical design with a cross-sectional approach. The study sample consisted of 60 mothers who gave birth normally, selected using a purposive sampling technique. Data were collected through observation and medical record recording. Data analysis used the chi-square test. The results showed that mothers who gave birth in an upright position had a 40% incidence of perineal tears, while those in a non-upright position had a 65% incidence. The statistical test results showed a p value = 0.032 (p < 0.05). It was concluded that there is a relationship between upright birth positions and the incidence of perineal tears in normal deliveries.
2026-04-04T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2026 Astin Nur Hanifah, Ismiyanti H.
